Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Neathie M. Patel is a foot and ankle surgeon proudly serving the Central Indiana community. She is passionate about helping her patients move through life with less pain and more confidence—whether that means managing a chronic condition, recovering from an injury, or simply getting back to doing what they love.

Dr. Patel completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington IN, then went on to earn her masters in Biomedical sciences at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL before earning her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. She completed an extensive surgical residency at East Liverpool City Hospital in Ohio, where she trained in advanced foot and ankle surgery, including reconstructive and rearfoot procedures as well as diabetic limb salvage.

She has special expertise in treating diabetic foot conditions, limb preservation, flatfoot correction, sports injuries, and skin and nail disorders of the feet. Dr. Patel is board qualified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and stays up to date with the latest advancements through continuing education and professional memberships.

What truly sets Dr. Patel apart is her commitment to personalized, compassionate care. She believes that good medicine starts with listening, and she works closely with each patient to understand their goals and guide them through all available treatment options. Her goal is to create a supportive, educational environment where you feel heard, informed, and empowered in your care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys gardening, cooking, volunteering in her local community, and mentoring young students through STEM programs. She is also a lifelong Girl Scout and values staying connected through service.

Medical Administrative Assistant

My name is Hannah West. I was born and raised in Wanamaker IN and live with my husband, our son and 3 dogs. I come with a background in veterinary medicine and am excited to learn more about the human side of medicine. When I am not working, I enjoy off-roading, camping and canoeing in the summertime. I am a passionate foodie and enjoy cooking in my free time as well. I look forward to meeting you all!

Medical Assistant

My name is Kaylee Howard. I have been in the medical field since graduating from Monroe Central in 2007 starting with being a certified nursing assistant through Ivy tech community college while in high school, specialties/licenses include advanced IV therapy/Phlebotomy from Med Tech College in 2011 and CPR/BLS instructor licensed with American Heart Association in 2021. I have two children, a daughter that is 18 years old and a son that is 11 years old who both enjoy helping me outside of work with my baking business and 501C accredited dog rescue which is a foster based rescue out of Indianapolis, IN. My main goal in my healthcare career and life in general is to pass on compassion and understanding to one another and lend a helping hand when it is needed.

Medical Administrative Assistant

My name is Jenna Scott. I was in the Art Therapy/Mental Health field for 3.5 years. I have 2 energetic dogs that love to be outside. I enjoy photography, reading, pottery, and being outdoors. In my free time, I am usually outside, exploring state parks, spending time with friends and family, or planting. I attended the University of Saint Francis with a degree in Pre-Art Therapy and IUPUI with a master’s degree in Art Therapy/Clinical Mental Health.

Board Certified Podiatrist

Dr. Alexandria Marshall is a board-certified podiatrist through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine in central Indiana. She is a native of Detroit, MI and a 2011 graduate of The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH where she received her doctorate of podiatric medicine. She completed her surgical residency at Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital in 2014. Dr. Marshall is also a provider with Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Indiana. Dr. Marshall has extensive experience treating common foot and ankle pathologies and diabetic foot care. Dr. Marshall also has large knowledge base when it comes to wound care. In the past, Dr. Marshall has treated patients in home and nursing homes along with inpatient care in the hospitals and clinical and office settings.

Dr. Marshall has kept up with her athletic past of being a collegiate runner and is currently a certified personal trainer with a concentration in Women’s Fitness through American College of Sports Medicine. She has taught cardio fit classes through Beach Body called CIZE and Bokwa, which is derived from South African street dance.
In her spare time, Dr. Marshall enjoys being an active member of her church, spending time with her Labradoodle Delilah, traveling and participating in some form of exercise. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Double Board Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Mieasha Hicks Barksdale is a double board certified foot & ankle surgeon in central Indiana. She is the CEO of Foot & Ankle Specialist of Indiana in Greenfield, Indiana, she is credentialed at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana and is also a provider with Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Indiana.  Dr. Barksdale is a 2007 graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH, and a 2012 graduate of The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH where she received her doctorate of podiatric medicine, graduating in the top 20 in her class. She completed her surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio in 2015 for foot and ankle surgery with an emphasis on rearfoot, reconstruction and ankle surgery (RRA).

Dr. Barksdale has extensive training and experience in diabetic charcot reconstruction and limb salvage, adult/pediatric flatfoot correction and sports medicine. She is board certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery with the American College of Foot & Ankle surgeons and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Indiana Podiatric Medical Association. She has also completed a certification for Muscle Flaps & External Fixation Frames in Chicago, Illinois. 

Apart from her medical experience, Dr. Barksdale is also an ambassador for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She served as their national spokesperson from 2003-2004. As tradition would hold, President George W. Bush, in the Oval Office, officially installed Dr. Barksdale as the National Youth of the Year during her reign.  As a representative and spokesperson for Boys & Girls Club, Dr. Barksdale has traveled all over the United States and to 4 countries speaking on behalf of the organization and being a role model to club members. 

Dr. Barksdale enjoys teaching and since the beginning of her career has worked directly with residents in the central, Indiana area. She is also very family oriented and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband.

Practice/ Billing Management – BBA & ACMCS

Tonia has been in healthcare management and administration for over 30 years. She started her early career working as contracting representative supervisor with Medical Mutual of Ohio. She then spent several years as the practice and billing manager with a vascular surgeon in Midwest Ohio, overseeing the development of management healthcare provider’s offices and ambulatory surgical centers. She then became the practice administrator and billing manager with Mercy Health Care. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and reading

Network Administrator/Accounting Specialist

Derek started his career and spent several years working in the HVAC field where he eventually began to branch off into computer controls within his specialty. This became more of an interest for him, leading him to gain more training in the information technology field where he then became MTA certified. In his spare time Derek enjoys spending time with his family, his wife and two daughters. He also has a passion for gaming and stays up to date on the newest technology available.

My name is Nikki Wolfe. I am married with two boys. I graduated from Warren Central High School and attended Youngstown State University. I played Division 1 volleyball for four years. I graduated with a Bachelor in Allied Health, Certified Medical Assistant and a Minor in Psychology. I have worked in the medical field for five years. I enjoy spending time with my family, being on the lake and I have a passion for crafting.

Lead Medical Assistant

My name is Jessica Dunz, I have been a medical assistant for nine years. I obtained my associates degree at Harrison College. My family is my happiness, along with my career. I have 3 beautiful kids and I’m happily engaged. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors and making wonderful memories with my family. I believe in order for you to make a difference in someone’s life you don’t have to be brilliant, rich or beautiful, you just have to care.

Office Manager & Surgical Coordinator

My name is Kelly Walsh. I am from the south side of Indianapolis. I have a wonderful significant other and two little boys that keep us active. I love kayaking, volunteering for special needs organizations and spending time with my friends and family. I attended Roncalli High School and completed my Associates of Applied Science at Medtech College. I have been in the medical field for eight years with almost all of that time being spent in podiatry. I have worn many hats including administrative, medical assistant, surgery scheduler and office manager. I have a passion for helping others and I am eager to see our practice grow in Greenfield.
